I am sure that this camera and lens will provide another 40 years of use. I had a Zeiss C/Y 85 1.4 serviced by Henry Scherer last year> What a delight to find someone like this with is years of experience and passion for Zeiss. Lots of pics available here, including CLA receipt: I've recently switched to using the Monochrom almost exclusively, and that means I'm paring back on some of my other cameras (see my Rolleiflex listing elsewhere on this forum). I assembled this set between 20, and shoot a roll or two through it every year with great results. The kit includes an additional Opton Sonnar 135mm f/4 as well as a variety of accessories (see pics - lens hood, body cap, etc.) It works perfectly, has a bright rangefinder patch, and includes the beloved Zeiss 50mm f/1.5 Sonnar Opton T lens, which was also fully overhauled by Henry Scherer at the same time. Professionally overhauled by Henry Scherer ( in 2006, this Contax IIa dates from ~1953 and has matching serial numbers (#A47322).
